We celebrated five of our summer birthdays, over strawberry cheesecake on July 28, 2017! Our birthday boys - Tom, Mohsen, Arian, Hossein, and Khaled - are seen in the first row (picture below). Some of our members were away (we missed them dearly), but many still contributed to making this celebration happen! (We'd like to thank Xueling, Minha, Amin, Khaled, Elnaz, and Salman for handling the practical details.)

We all signed cards and prepared a small gift for each birthday person (it'll be different each time, within budget and getting creative). This time, we chose: Kirkland Signature Himalayan Pink Salt Grinder! Many of us cook quite a bit, and here is to a bit of flavour and aesthetics of the pink salt crystals!

The cake-cutting ceremony was quite special, seeing five hands coordinating for a consistent logic in dividing the cake. 🙂 And the feedback was unanimous: delicious!
